The turf problem
Turf does not forgive a dive.
Artificial turf can be harder and rougher than natural grass, and a goalkeeper meets it again and again. Diving is the job, and the landing is the part that hurts.
Illustrative demonstration.
01 · Dive
You commit to the ball and leave your feet.
02 · Land
Shoulder, ribs, elbow, hip and knee meet the surface, often one after another.
03 · Repeat
Every save, every training, every game. The knocks add up.
How A3GK helps
Padding where you land.
Hexagonal EVA foam padding sits over the areas that take contact when you dive. It goes on under your kit and moves with you.
Spreads the impact
The hexagonal cells are designed to spread the force of a landing across the panel instead of leaving it on one spot.
Stays flexible
The panels bend and move with the fabric, so you keep your range of movement through the dive, the roll and the recovery.
Padding adds cushioning. It does not make you injury-proof, and it is not a substitute for good technique or proper equipment.

How it sits under your kit

Short sleeves or shorts? You can wear the base layer under a short-sleeve jersey and shorts, but we do not recommend it. It is designed to sit fully under a long-sleeve jersey and long pants.
Renderings based on the real garments, not photographs. Padding is on the front only: the back is plain fabric.

Short-sleeve version
Top and shorts
The same padding as the long-sleeve set, without the elbow and knee panels: chest, ribs and a panel on each short sleeve, plus a joined hip-and-thigh panel on each leg.
Each piece is sold on its own, or in any combination with the long-sleeve top and leggings. Build your kit. $50 CAD per piece, or $80 CAD for a top and a bottom.
